Flooring Brief (Blog Article)

Members (and Visitors):

Hi everybody.  During my web search, I found a news item, recently published at furnituretoday.com, about Art Van World of Furniture completing World of Floors acquisition.  This news item, written by Clint Engel, informs readers that Art Van Furniture is acquiring the remaining stake in World of Floors, making Art Van World of Floors a wholly-owned brand of the Top 100 company.

The retailer previously held a 50% stake in World of Floors and has agreed to buy the remaining 50% from Emil Pedick, according to a release. The purchase price was not disclosed.  Art Van said it will be moving the World of Floors headquarters into its own Warren, Mich., headquarters soon.

Pedick said his vision with Art Van World of Floors “was to create a store-within-a-store concept that leverages the marketing and customer base of a successful retail furniture operation.”  He added that this has been accomplished, and he thanked World of Floors employees for their loyalty during the past few years, according to the news item.  More at furnituretoday.com.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Yokel

Most media planners aren't unlikely to consider Floor Covering Media for the schedule particularly with flooring clients. It is a natural fit or would seem so.

During the course of the media plan, it isn't incredibly uncommon for the media planners to request specific pages. The Flooring Briefs page is one of the most commonly requested pages.

It's appealing to seasoned media planners. It's not a challenge to present even as an experiment to the client. There are a diversity of headlines over time each of which appeals to a broad range of interests within this niche industry. It is also affordably priced not to break the bank.
