Corner of Broadway and West 93rd Street
Posted on: 04-08-2021 by Elizabeth Yokel

Renderings reveal ODA Architecture‘s 2505 Broadway, a 19-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Depicted are upper and ground-floor levels of the structure topped out at the corner of Broadway and West 93rd Street. ODA is also designing the interiors of the property and its 44 residential units, each averaging 1,934 square feet apiece. Adam America Real Estate, the developer for the 75,000-square-foot structure, will additionally feature 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing will be handling sales and marketing for this project.

Imagine the views looking south toward Midtown and shows the multiple setbacks on the upper floors of 2505 Broadway. Black metal railings line the edges of the landscaped outdoor terraces, while brick masonry walls elegantly curve away from each slightly recessed window; it's an extra layer of depth and quality to the fenestration. Extended mechanical units sit atop a large outdoor terrace space hidden behind a series of horizontal metal grilles as well as shrubs and tall trees. Spotlights and climbing vines attached to walls between grilles are likely to illuminate the leaves and branches after dusk.

The second rendering depicts the ground floor with the main entrance in focus. A dark-colored rectangular metal canopy is held up by wires over sidewalks along Broadway, covering the double-door entrance with floor-to-ceiling glass panels; its these panels that frame the main lobby and the marble interior walls. This provides a perspective of the brick layout and its varying shades across the columns and between the windows. The subway is nearby; there's actually an entrance to the 96th Street station conveniently found in front of 2505 Broadway. Easy access is provided to the 1, 2, and 3 trains.

The spaces range from one bedrooms to four bedrooms. Also available at this location will be a pair of townhouses and a four-bedroom penthouse with its own private, spacious rooftop terrace offering breath taking views of the Hudson River. Each residential floor shares either one or two other units. The residential amenities include a fitness center, a playroom, a sports court, a pet spa, a library lounge and multiple private outdoor spaces. The target completion date? End of 2021.
