FCM Websites is a provider of website design services for small businesses.

Account Executive

Territory Management
Business Development
2017-2022

In this position, I was assigned to manage two sales territories in Broward County, Florida and Ocean County, New Jersey. Actively prospected for new business and managed the existing business while traveling between the two sales territories. FCM Websites is notably a spinoff of Floor Covering Media,LLC, the micro-social network serving the floor covering trade.

FCM Websites was initially intended to be a limited offering for the floor covering trade. The initiative has since expanded to serve mainstream businesses after demand for the services surged unexpectedly. The customer base grew steadily and leveled off at some point during the spring of 2020. I have been noticing a gradual change in the role of this sales position. While the first three years was a period of proactive selling (2017-2019), the last three years (2020-2022) have been a period of reactive account servicing as the company is growing. FCM Websites currently has over a hundred customers.

I am currently in the market for a sales position, which requires a combination of proactive selling and relationship selling.

Hibu's family of products included Google Products, as a google partner: What I sold and managed were Hibu and Google products including: Google SEM, SEO, Hibu Websites and online business listings. Following this transition, the company went in a new direction.

The Account Executive position was redefined. The title of the position changed to Business Development Representative. About a year later, the company made a decision to retreat from the above strategy. When they did, the title of this position reverted back to: Account Executive. I was again responsible for managing the sales territory and administrative functions.

However, I was expected to continue developing new business. Sales quotas even increased. Additionally, I was expected to sell existing Hibu products and new Hibu products added to the portfolio such as: Hibu reviews and Hibu Social Marketing. Sales team members were required to achieve financial and numeric objectives for the expanded portfolio of Hibu products.
