Upgrading your floors on a budget
Posted on: 10-16-2013 by Elizabeth Yokel

Delta-optimist.com recently published a useful article about how upgrading your floors is likely to increase the value of your home.

The author informs readers that increasing the value of a home or selling a home quickly could be done so by updating the flooring.

Hardwood is a popular though pricey option so you may want to consider a few alternatives that could be easier on your pocketbook.

"Flooring on a budget has come a long way from the days of vinyl cushion floor," according to Royal LePage broker Carlo Racioppo.

Hardwood surfaces such as cork are attractive, durable, 100% renewable, cost-efficient, easy on the feet and relatively sound-proof.

Concrete is a trendy surface; known for its sustainability, low maintenance, longevity and versatility, which could be easily stained, painted or personalized to suit your living space.

Laminate floors and vinyl floors provide the illusion of a more luxurious floor, but are far more affordable. Laminate is highly resistant to stains, scratches and general wear and tear.

Engineered wood provides a similar type of texture and a similar type of look to hardwood; though it is sold at a fraction of the price.

Affordable surfaces may leave extra money in the budget for a soft cushy area rug; a nice touch likely to complement a living space.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Yokel

Most media planners aren't unlikely to consider Floor Covering Media for the schedule particularly with flooring clients. It is a natural fit or would seem so.

During the course of the media plan, it isn't incredibly uncommon for the media planners to request specific pages. The Flooring Briefs page is one of the most commonly requested pages.

It's appealing to seasoned media planners. It's not a challenge to present even as an experiment to the client. There are a diversity of headlines over time each of which appeals to a broad range of interests within this niche industry. It is also affordably priced not to break the bank.
