New demolition tool set for flooring contractors
Posted on: 11-01-2015 by Elizabeth Yokel

This article is about Artillery Tools and their 'The Glued Down Flooring Set'.

'The Glued Down Flooring Set' is an efficient and flexible tool designed with safety, precision, practicality and efficiency in mind. Flooring contractors angling for more leverage to improve efficiency and increase profitability are well served by equipping crews with this time saving invention at the jobsite.

In the past few years, Artillery Tools has created several new parts, which are incorporated in this new set. Three of these new parts are the scraping fulcurm, the salvage blade and the left toe kick.

The scraping fulcrum removes most of the prying motion, which lowers the angle of operation closer to the ground so that the user can apply more force at a better angle for glued down flooring removal.

The salvage blade is the newest and most effective blade that incorporates side cutting action, multi-purpose corners and a thinner, more tapered blade, which takes less force to get under materials and also can do less damage in a salvage operation.

The left toe kick adds weight if needed and the ability to strategically kick the bar under the material to get the blade started in exactly the right location.

The above three pieces are also included in The Glued Down Flooring Set, which is a great set to get started with. There are many other parts that could be added to this set to increase its capability. These three new items can be added to any set to improve performance. Artillery Tools can customize any set just the way the customer needs it.

It is securely enclosed its own convenient carrying case to prevent loss.

What makes 'The Glued Down Flooring Set' very effective is its adaptability to give you some of the best bar configurations for non-glued down flooring while also supplying the new scraping bar configuration to greatly improve on the removal of all the glued down materials; such as tile, linoleum, chip-board, hardwood and cement board. This tool changes into whatever type of tool the flooring contractor requires.

Join the homeowners that are saving thousands of dollars with the right tools to do their own tear-outs. Join the contractors completing jobs in the field in a fraction of the time it takes with ordinary tools.

See how this tool removes some of the most stubborn glued down flooring material.

The demonstration video shows removal of glued and nailed down cement board, which is one of the toughest materials to remove. Those familiar with removing nailed down cement board can clearly see from the video above that this tool increases productivity while reducing the level of fatigue that ordinary tools cause.
