As battery powered planes reach for the sky, a privately held startup company by the name of Beta Technologies announced that it had recently completed a 16-day pilot study of their fully electric aircraft, which actually flew through busy zones of congested air space over Boston, New York, Washington DC and a few other areas, along the east coast. Beta Technology’s CX300 is capable of carrying a load of up to 1250 lbs and notably with an impressive traveling range; the craft has flown as much as 386 miles on a single charge!

Although, this carrying capacity and traveling range are unlikely going to be necessary, as the company is anticipating that this craft will probably be used for considerably shorter trips involving the transportion of much lighter cargo.

Imagine a drone aircraft with zero emissions that’s quieter than a helicopter! This remarkable invention should soon open up doors to new and exciting opportunities. The test pilots are marveling at the noise level that is so low each of them were able to remove their helmets and comfortably converse!
